Frankincense Serrata is the resin that oozes from the Boswellia Serrata tree trunk when cut. The dried resin is collected and then meticulously steam distilled to produce precious Frankincense Serrata Essential Oil.
Steam Distillation protects the fragile botanical compounds in the resin (known as Frankincense Serrata) of the Boswellia Serrata tree (a subtype of the Boswellia tree), ensuring that they are not damaged by the higher temperatures of other extraction methods when extracting Frankincense Serrata Essential Oil.
